We’re no longer accepting applications for this job, but you’re welcome to apply for a different one.

Since launching in 2013, Bending Spoons has served around half a billion people across the globe through our suite of cutting-edge products. Still, we’ve only just crossed the starting line on our mission to make an enduring positive impact on our customers, on our fellow Spooners, and on society at large.

We’ve just partnered with Humamy, an innovative start-up with an incredibly promising plant-based product — and the potential to shake up the food industry. We believe it has a real shot at impacting the fight against some of the biggest challenges facing humanity: unsustainable eating habits and climate change.

We believe Humamy has what it takes to be a runaway global success, and we’re seeking a new team member who’s fired up to make this vision a reality. It’s a full-stack role typical of an ambitious startup, so you’ll need to bring your resourcefulness, your determination, and your entrepreneurial passion. Come expecting lots of hard work, great responsibility, and enormous personal growth from day one.

A few examples of your responsibilities

  • Work on a vast array of tasks from right across the responsibility spectrum, each time taking intense ownership of the project and doing whatever’s necessary to deliver success for Humamy.
  • Develop growth strategies to reach new potential customers and help Humamy flourish to its full, genre-defining potential.
  • Run competitor analyses, draft cost-benefit analyses, and monitor the latest innovations in the space.
  • Contribute to product development, proposing improvements to the customer funnel and finding new ways to make Humamy delight ever-more people.
  • Help optimize our logistics operations so that our production and delivery processes run as smooth as (dairy-free) butter.

What we look for

  • Drive. Your dedication matches the intensity of your ambition. You’re willing to put in the hard work necessary to achieve your goals, and the highly demanding challenges in your track record are proof of your relentless spirit.
  • Logical-analytical abilities. You’re able to objectively evaluate complex information, arguments, and situations. You’re used to applying logical deduction to tackle sophisticated problems, and this has often allowed you to solve difficult intellectual challenges.
  • Curiosity and initiative. Rather than waiting to be told what to do, you’re forever hunting down new opportunities and testing fresh ideas. You’ve consistently and actively participated in independent projects, and you’re an endless source of innovative ideas.
  • Passion. You have a genuine love for the field. You investigate the subject extensively and are always up to date with the latest developments.
  • Tenacity. Once you have a goal, there’s no stopping you! Failure doesn’t discourage you—after every stumble, you get right back up and try again.
  • A collaborative nature. You can understand others and work well with them, balancing patience and assertiveness.
  • A hands on attitude. Because you own the mission, when you see something that needs to be done, you do it.
  • Proficiency in Italian. You read, write, and speak proficiently in Italian.

What we offer

  • Make a difference. Be the owner of your effort—from day one, you’re one of the team and fully trusted to take responsibility for your tasks. You’ll have every incentive to make a major impact.
  • Unique career opportunity. By joining a fast-growing company on a mission to become one of the world's greatest, it’s an unparalleled opportunity to turbocharge your learning and career prospects.
  • Inspiring mission. Humamy has the potential to transform humanity’s relationship with food, and positively impact the planet in many ways. And by embracing this mission, you’ll become part of an exciting and wildly ambitious journey.
  • Flexibility and trust. From day one, you’ll be one of the team and fully trusted. No micromanagement or clipping your wings—just the freedom and responsibility to do great work.
  • Talented, knowledgeable colleagues. Learn from (and teach) some of the brightest and most skilled people you’ll ever meet. Your talent is going to blossom here.
  • Relocation package. If you need to relocate for the position, we typically cover reasonable transportation and moving expenses, provide up to three months of temporary accommodation, and help you and your close family members with visa support if necessary.
  • Flexible time off. Each year, full-time Humamy employees may get additional paid time off.
  • Competitive salary and stock options. Our compensation package is highly competitive, and can grow rapidly and include stock options, depending on your performance and seniority.

The selection process
